Hi all:
Saw Book of Eli and Up in the Air. Both stories of redemption and purpose. No spoilers here. Denzel at his most grizzled (still hubba, hubba) and George Clooney all cleaned up and VERY pretty! Up in the Air had the nice little surprise of Sam Elliott (hubba cubed). Had a wonderful, gossipy breakfast with a good friend on Saturday. She has been able to release some demonish relationships (very hard for her) and we celebrated over eggs and tortillas.
On the beading scene, played with clay yesterday and assembled my bead soup package. Made a lot of beads yesterday using the tutorial I bought from Iris Mishley (heart pillow beads). Making the clay fabric was soooooo liberating. If you want to purchase see here: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=38689263. Yellow, brown, pink orange, red...really...REALLY. They worked, at least IMO. The striped sheet didn't come out too badly either, if I say so myself. Thanks to Iris for such a well done tutorial. So inspiring.
What a great weekend. I feel rested and able to work again. Ahhhhhhh.... "See" you all some time this week.

Wow, talk about...........
Talk about bad bloggers....I'm Elizabeth and I'm a bad blogger, my last post was Nov 11. EEK-gads. Well, what is new in Elizabeth Land? Not much. Lots of work drama, oh and well. Really bored with the work drama, so will leave it there.
I have managed to make some new pieces and entered a contest, Use the Muse III. Can't wait to see the gallery of entries, very excited. I will post a pic of my entry once the big reveal happens. Everything is very hush hush for now.
Use the Muse really got my creativity mood up and running. I needed a deadline, or something, to recharge and this process really did it. I felt committed to the process, which I really needed to feel about something. Commitment has been lacking in Elizabeth-ville as of late. So just the kick in the toukas that I needed. The reveal is Friday I believe at the Beader's Muse website, which you can reach here:
http://www.thebeadersmuse.com/
Scarlet Lanson is the sweetest! Very diligent and special to work with. She made sure everyone had what they needed and adjusted deadlines as necessary. If you haven't participated in Use the Muse, it is must do. So worth the price of admission.
Okay, enough gushing. Have a great week and I'll see everyone (does anyone visit this place) at the weekend, maybe sooner...don't hold your breath, ha!

OMG
I can't believe how long it has been since I have posted. Yikes. Work is going well. The reorg suits me. The babies are fabu. The weather is finally getting to autumn. Would like it to be in the 60s though. Still recovering from nasty flu and then whatever was in October.
Have gotten some jewelry making in and some claying. Mainly experimenting. Toying with the idea of a craft fair. We'll see.............need inventory.
Must shut down for the evening. Need to be fresh for tomorrow don't you know.
Night, night....

Valentine's day
It has been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooooooooooooooooooooooo long since I have posted. I did a bunch of claying as part of loving myself day. Made some bookmarks and covered a candy tin for a friend. I like them all very much if I do say so myself. Took yesterday off from work and it was delicious.
The painter came and finished the gates today. They look fab!!!
The dogs have loved having me home and I have loved being home.
I will post photos of clay soon!!!
