Windy Sunday

It is a windy Sunday here in El Paso..............VERY WINDY. The sky is not turquoise today, but the wind chimes are singing. I hang a beautiful wreath that a friend gave me last week and I'm loving the look of it.

It is actually quite warm outside, the wind just makes me anxious. Even the dogs are anxious and they are usually a pretty mellow bunch.

Was going to clay today, but am feeling less than inspired. Prolly just watch TV with the babies.

busy week

What a crazy week: I was told that my almost finished master's will not certify me in administration, sat through a salary board meeting that ended up with a 1% raise as predicted, went to a sweet wedding on Friday for a co-worker. So the week ended happily.

Next week should prove to be VERY busy. More intern stuff!! Getting ready for back to school trainings, so things should be very interesting.

My clay muse is still on vacay, I guess. I have not had one nudge towards creativity even though I have looked at amazing things being done (thank God for i-candy!)

The babies are conked out on the cool tile, my phone is charging and my dryer just stopped. Must do some errands.

Peace to all of you on a beautiful Sunday...................... :o)

Back Home.....

I'm back home, yay!!!!!!!!!!! 5 days in Dallas in unbearable heat, now I know why we in the desert rave about dry heat. I don't think people in Dallas are ever dry in the summer.

I was so happy to see my babies! They were happy (shout out to my dog sitter, Margie) but I think, in their doggy way, happy to see me as well.

I'm hoping to get some clay work done this weekend. Anything to put off doing homework, LOL. Saw some great exhibits in Dallas that were greatly inspiring. Hoping to put that to use.

Well, peace to the world for today.

The big 55!

Here is a picture of some older clay work
Well, tomorrow is the big 55! Sounds very old to my ears, but what are the options. I'm having lunch with some friends and have had many well wishings from around the nation!! So all in all, all is well.
The sky was a magnificent feast of gray fluffy clouds today with the sun peaking out at odd intervals. Might be remnants of Hurrican Dolly. Kept the heat down and that was nice.
Sunday will be on my way to Dallas for a conference with some fun work friends. We will have some down time for giggles, so it should be fun. Work has been a little tense lately so getting out of the building will be swell. I plan to treat myself to a massage, so some fun should ensue.
I've been reading lots of clay articles and watching lots of craft shows so tomorrow I'm heading into the studio for some claying and beading. For now the puppies need attention and the TV needs watching. So, love to all in the world. Good night.

My first post

Les Bebes

I'm looking out at a turquoise sky while doing my first post. Turquoise is so inspiring to me. It is my diamonds. Give me turquoise any day over any other thing. Tomorrow is back to work. "Just another Manic Monday, wish is was Sunday.........."

Lately all I want is to play and clean my house, not necessarily in that order. The dogs help as they can, by bringing in more things to clean up.

Well, enough for my first post. Hope this is read by someone in the great regions of cyperspace.

Peace
