Here are some snow photos from the desert.  High today is expected to be 24, we hit a low of 2 (not a typo) last night, wind chill -16 (again, not a typo).  Lost power 3 times yesterday, no power loss today, fingers crossed! This is a new favorite design and I like the direction.  This will go on Etsy next week.  It is striped polymer clay in a coil shaped to the wrist with 16 guage copper wire rings and a leather strap.  It is very comfortable to wear. A sunset last week.  This is why I bought my house, this view and these sunsets!  The desert in winter, divine! OOps, anyway, this is another upcycled jam jar with polymer lid cover and believe charm.  The jar is filled with red and white glass pebbles (dollar store).  The lid is gorilla-glued one, so it is going nowhere!  Another Secret Santa for ornament day.  Festive if I do say so myself.

I played today with some ceramic pendants I got a little while ago from MaryAnn Carrol at Artisan Beads Plus.  They are such a joy to hold in the hand and I wanted to give everyone a peek at what I completed today. Yesterday was errand day.  My first view as I leave my driveway is always this: Then I noticed the temperature in the car.  El Paso heat is in full bloom: Then off for moolah, some Jackson's if you please!  As an aside, I've always thought my Uncle Alfred looked like Andrew Jackson, same hair for sure: Today, I watered, played catch with Daisy and finished my American Idol Victoriana piece.

I have had the most darling hummingbird visiting my mesquite tree in the front yard for 2 days.  H/she isn't even bothered by the dogs.  It actually sat in the tree, I had never seen a hummingbird do that before.  It was too sweet. Hi all:  Well, Rudy is MUCH better.  Still being picky about food (has always been on and off), but is eating with some coaxing.  Walking better.  Now, Daisy, my youngest has developed a small stye on her white eye side.  Oy,  these guys are going to drive me to drink.  Thanks for all the love.
